MEDICAL BILLING PROFESSIONAL
Seeking Medical Billing Professionals with experience in coding and collections from a physician's medical office or preferably from a Revenue Cycle Management company.
The ideal candidate must have extensive coding and collection proficiency with a minimum of 3-5 years of industry experience.

MEDICAL Coding PROFESSIONAL
The Medical Coder is responsible for providing high quality professional service to our clients. This position is responsible for client relationships as it relates to gathering and acquiring information from the clinic for purposes of coding the work. This position is accountable for assigning or posting of all charges and other required duties as assigned by the supervisor or manager in Medical Billing. The Medical Coder assists clients by choosing or helping to choose the most accurate code for the particular service billed.
A successful Medical Coder will carry out the principal accountabilities of the position while supporting the vision and intent of The edgeMED Way.
The duties identified below are the essential functions of the position. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
Follow the appropriate ICD-10 guidelines as well as CPT guidelines when determining charges for clients.
Assign/verify ICD-10 and CPT codes for all charges.
Communicate with client to get additional information, documentation, and reports to resolve claim issues.
Appeal and correct denials as indicated by the nature of the denial.
Maintain accurate and thorough coding documentation as determined by the clinic and/or industry standards.
Answer questions from clients, team members, patients, or others in a professional manner.
Coach, guide, and mentor team members in entering and reviewing charges.
Play a vital role in training and mentoring of team members.
Prepare charges; review, research, and follow-up on claims.
Successfully meet and/or exceed established quality goals.
Engage in ongoing personal development in line with the growth and development strategy.
Knowledge and Skills Required:
Strong technical knowledge and skills.
Problem solving abilities.
Ability to complete work independently and prioritize assigned work.
Ability to work both independently and within a team environment.
Keep up-to-date on coding guidelines and initiatives as they continue to be released. Where payer requirements differ, be agile enough to adapt to the needed format used by the specific payer for correct coding guidelines.
Possess an understanding of HIPAA as it relates to Personal Health information (PHI).
Know limitations; ask for help when needed.
Possess a knowledge of clients’ terminology in their healthcare specialty.
Basic knowledge of general accounting principles and standards.
Ability to train and mentor team members.
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

Revenue Cycle SALES PROFESSIONAL
The Sales Professional is responsible for delivering sales revenue from revenue cycle management services offered to healthcare clients and prospects in the US. The main focus of this position is to bring in new business from existing accounts and new clients from referrals and prospecting.
Identify and qualify genuine opportunities, providing a consultative and value-added approach to create and foster relationships.
Develop and execute sales presentations to potential clients on-site and online.
Negotiate agreement terms and work with the operations and implementation teams to ensure smooth handoffs.
Build a sales pipeline of qualified sales opportunities.
Maintain an ongoing relationship with prospective clients by continuously assessing and communicating how edgeMED can meet their needs.
Minimum of 2 years selling revenue cycle management services, with verifiable quota performance. Must be highly motivated self-starters with excellent oral and written communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, formal presentation skills before small and large groups, problem solving ability and negotiation skills, good follow-through and time management skills and attention to detail.
Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Attended sales training/strategic selling courses (preferred, but not required).
Specialty specific knowledge (ex: Cardiology, Orthopedics, Pediatrics, Podiatry etc).
